OMG…ya’ll. It’s October 31st, which for most of you, that means it’s Halloween. And, I hear you – I hear you. Halloween is pretty rad. You get to wear masks, you get to knock on strangers’ doors and beg for candy. Generally speaking, Halloween is that one day out of the year you get to be a total freak and it’s a-okay.
BUT…hear me out. October 31st also means that tomorrow is Nov 1st. AND. AND do you know what that means?! DO YOU?!
If you guessed “NaNoWriMo” because you read the title, then boo. You win. If you guessed it because you have/will participate, then COME TO MY DOOR AND I’LL GIVE YOU ALL THE CANDY.
Tomorrow is the day that many people across the globe will hunker down and begin writing toward a 50k word goal by Nov 30th. It’s a magical time of sore fingers, cold weather, coffee and telling everyone that no, you can’t do dinner plans next week. You’ve got to write.
NaNo was how I finally got myself into gear to write my last novel, Someone to Stay. This year, I started a little early because I am shooting to have my second novel finished by Dec 1st, which means book in readers’ hands early 2018. I am so excited to share this story with you all and cannot wait to have it finished. It’s already my favorite thing I’ve written so far and can’t wait to see what you all think of it.
Thanks for all your support!
